  • Account & Identification Information: Full name, mobile phone number, email address, company/dealer name, designation, and zone.
  • Authentication Data: One-Time Password (OTP) verification codes.
  • User-Generated Content: Photos uploaded for conference badges or conference memory sticker frames.

B. Information Collected Automatically:

  • Event Participation & Activity Data: QR code scan timestamps, conference hall entry records, football tournament score engagements, and quiz answer submissions.
  • Device & Technical Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

To provide core functionality, the app requests the following runtime permissions:

  • Camera (android.permission.CAMERA):
  • Used to scan QR codes for attendance check-in and session verification.
  • Used to capture attendee selfies and apply conference-branded photo frames.
  • Note: Camera access is only active when explicitly initiated by the user.
  • Photos & Storage (android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):
  • Used to select photos for profile updates and save conference memory pictures with sticker overlays.
  • Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS):
  • Used to send time-critical conference alerts, schedule changes, meal announcements, and tournament scores.

We do not access your contacts, SMS, audio recordings, or precise background location.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information strictly for conference-related purposes:

  1. Attendance & Access Control: Generating unique attendee QR badges and validating entry into conference venues.
  2. Event Gamification & Engagement: Powering live football tournament score updates and interactive quiz leaderboards.
  3. Information Distribution: Providing access to product catalogs, brochures, and conference itineraries.
  4. Communication: Dispatching real-time notifications and emergency conference announcements.
  5. Account Management & Security: Verifying user identities via secure OTP and protecting against unauthorized access.

5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosure

  • Firebase (Google LLC): For delivering push notifications and app diagnostics.
  • Hosting & Infrastructure Providers: Secure, encrypted cloud servers hosting the conference management system.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse:

  • All data transmissions between the mobile app and servers are encrypted using TLS / HTTPS.
  • Authentication tokens and passwords are securely hashed and stored.
  • Access to participant data is restricted to authorized conference administrators.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion (Google Play Compliance)

  • Retention Period: Conference participation data is retained for the duration of the Annual Dealer Conference 2026 and for administrative reporting afterwards, after which non-essential records are anonymized or permanently deleted.
  • User Rights & Account Deletion:
    In compliance with Google Play’s Account Deletion Policy, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:
  1. In-App: Navigate to your Profile / Settings screen and tap Delete Account.
  2. Web Request: If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access it, submit an account deletion request via email to support@dealercon.dbl or visit https://<your-domain>/dealer_con/account-deletion with your registered mobile number.
    Once verified, all personal details, profile photos, and quiz records will be purged from our active databases within 30 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

DBL DealerCon 2026 is an enterprise and business event application intended strictly for dealers, professionals, and conference delegates. The app is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
